These terms are the rules for using GreenBro. We wrote them in plain language. Please read them together with our privacy policy.

In short

  • GreenBro gives general information about U.S. immigration. It is not legal advice.
  • We are not part of USCIS or the U.S. government, and they do not endorse us.
  • Ask us to check a case only if it is yours or you are authorized to check it.
  • GreenBro is free. Donations are voluntary.

1. Who we are

GreenBro is a service of Weycop LLC, a company organized in the United States ("Weycop", "we" or "us"). You can write to us at apps@weycop.com.

2. Accepting these terms

  • By using GreenBro, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use GreenBro.
  • You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, use GreenBro with the permission of a parent or guardian.

3. What GreenBro is and is not

  • GreenBro explains USCIS case statuses, forms and processes, using official sources. It also helps you fill out official forms in your own browser.
  • GreenBro is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. Using it does not create an attorney-client relationship.
  • GreenBro does not file anything with USCIS for you, and it never signs in to your USCIS account.
  • GreenBro can make mistakes. Check important information on uscis.gov. For advice about your situation, talk to an immigration attorney or an accredited representative.

4. We are not USCIS

GreenBro is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by USCIS, the Department of Homeland Security or any government agency. We do not use their seals or logos. When we show USCIS's official wording, it comes from USCIS as published.

5. Checking a case status

When this feature is available, these rules apply:

  • Give us a receipt number only for your own case, or for a case whose applicant, petitioner or requester authorized you to check it.
  • Before we check a case, you confirm this. We cannot verify it ourselves, so you are responsible for your confirmation being true.
  • Do not try to look up receipt numbers you were not given, for example by guessing them or trying numbers in sequence.
  • The status comes from USCIS as it is. Sometimes we cannot check a case, for example when USCIS's service is down or its limits are reached.
  • If you save a case and ask for alerts, we check it regularly and email you when it changes. You can stop the alerts or remove the case at any time.

6. Your account

  • You do not need an account to chat. If you create one, we send a sign-in link to your email. Keep access to that email safe.
  • You can close your account at any time by writing to apps@weycop.com. Our Privacy policy explains what we delete and when.

7. What you may not do

  • Use GreenBro for anything illegal or to harm someone.
  • Ask us to check a case you are not authorized to check, or pretend to be someone else.
  • Use bots, scripts or other automated tools to send messages, look up cases or copy our content.
  • Try to get around our limits or security, or disrupt the service.
  • Share other people's personal information without their permission.

If someone breaks these rules, we may limit or end their access.

8. Content

  • What you write stays yours. You let us use it only to run GreenBro, as our Privacy policy explains.
  • GreenBro's own text, design and software belong to Weycop. Official USCIS wording and forms are public government information.

9. Donations

GreenBro is free for everyone. Donations are voluntary, do not unlock anything extra, and are handled by PayPal under its own terms.

10. No guarantees

We work to keep GreenBro accurate and available, but we provide it "as is". We do not promise that its information is always complete, current or free of errors, or that the service will always be available.

11. Limits of our responsibility

As far as the law allows, Weycop is not responsible for decisions you make based on GreenBro, for missed deadlines, or for indirect losses that come from using it. Always confirm important steps with USCIS or a legal professional.

12. Changes to GreenBro and to these terms

  • We may change, pause or end features of GreenBro. When we can, we will tell you before.
  • If we change these terms, we will post the new version here with its date. If the change is important, we will explain it in plain language and ask for your agreement before it applies to you.
