Case Required USCIS To Send A Notice
π¬ USCIS is sending you a notice about your case.
What it means
USCIS took an action on your case that requires sending you a notice. The status does not say what kind: it can be an approval, a request for evidence, an interview, or another decision.
What happens next
Check your USCIS online account and your mail; the notice explains what happened and may carry a deadline that counts from the day it was issued, not from the day it arrives. The status text gives a date to wait until: if the notice has not arrived by then, request a copy from USCIS (non-delivery of notice).
Is this the status on your case?
Ask me. I'll walk you through what it means for you, with data from the cases I follow.
